COOKING FAQ
At Mama Mimi's our delicious pizzas start with dough made from scratch every morning. The homemade sauces contain the freshest ingredients and no transfats or artificial ingredients. Remember, each oven cooks a little differently so when cooking your pizza, be sure to keep an eye on it. The crust will perfectly brown as the baking paper starts to brown and you will be enjoying your outrageously great pizza in 10 minutes...or less!
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees and adjust baking rack to middle of oven.
- Remove plastic wrap!
- Slide pizza and white baking sheet from cardboard circle into oven. Leave
pizza on baking paper and place directly onto oven rack.
- Do not place cardboard circle into oven.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and crust is nicely browned.
- Every oven bakes a little differently.
Check the bottom of the crust before you take the pizza out of the oven.
- Remove from oven by sliding pizza back onto the cardboard circle. Discard
baking paper and let cool for a moment. Slice it and enjoy!
Helpful Baking Hints:
- Every pizza cooks up best at room temperature.

- Pizzas cook up best in a preheated oven. If pizza is not done in 8-10
minutes, then turn oven temperature up to 500 degrees, keep an eye on the pizza
and finish off.
- The hotter the oven, the better the pizza will cook up.
- Bake only one pizza at a time. Baking paper will turn brown (but don't worry).
- Pizza can be refrigerated for up to 48 hours.
- If a pizza has been refrigerated for longer than 1-2 hours,
then it must sit out at room temperature for 30+ minutes before cooking.
Lasagnas:
- Family Pan: Cook covered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, remove foil lid and
turn oven up to 400 degrees. Cook uncovered for 10-15 additional minutes. During
the last 5 minutes, unwrap bread sticks and slide in oven on top rack above
lasagna.
- Party Pan: Cook covered at 400 degrees for 30 minutes, remove foil lid and
turn oven up to 450 degrees. Cook uncovered for 10-15 additional minutes. During
the last 5 minutes, unwrap bread sticks and slide in oven on top rack above
lasagna.
- Solo: Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Remove plastic lid. Place lasagna
on middle rack & bake for 12-15 minutes or until cheese is browned and
bubbly.
- Breadsticks: Cook on baking paper at 450 degrees for 4-5 minutes. Breadsticks
cook best at room temperature. If they have been refrigerated for more
than one hour, let set out at room temp for 30 + minutes.
